STUDY SMART NOT HARD!!

In this rapidly evolving world, transformations and development are taking place each and every second whether it be technology, health, finance, education and so many more sectors. And so, we can't afford to lack behind in any field.

But don't you feel that your methods of study are a little outdated OR like they require some replacements? And don't you think its the high time for the development of your techniques you use while studying?

The answer is Yes, of course. We need to change our study methods to score better in exams.

For generations, we have always heard that "Hard work is a key to success."This isn't wrong but requires some modifications and that's"Smartwork is a key to success"

Yes, you heard it right. So, continue reading the blog post for "Studying smart not hard."

Hard work means that you are simply sitting at your study table for7-8 hours without any shortcuts and are just simply staring at your book to understand the concepts. People will recognise this as hard work. But, trust me simply looking at the book is not gonna work. You will just grab 15-20% of what you read.

BUT!!

Smartwork?Smart work would be aspiring for the same results but with panning and prioritization of tasks. This means that you are studying actively by learning and understanding the concepts at least for 1 hour which may provide better results and that is you may grab 90% of the concepts.

So, let's move on to

#Study in chunks

You may be pondering chunks?? Chunks mean breaks. You should study for 40minutes and then take a 5minute break and continue this for 2-3 lots and then you can have a longer break as per your preference. It may be that your whole topic, must not be covered in just a span of 40 minutes. So, what you can do is finish 1 or2 topic in one slot and when you get back you can continue up with other topics.

#20% Read and 80% recite
Now, sometimes we find reading the whole day exhausts us so much that our mind stops concentrating.
How about this if I ask you to read a concept, close the book and recite it in your own ways. I am not saying you to learn each and every word but just try to revise the concept in your own language or ways.

#Switch subjects
Instead of spending your entire day studying and focusing on one single subject and topic, how about you study one topic of a subject and then change the subject. And you can come back to the first subject may be later or the next day. This will increase your mind frequency to grasp the concept in a much better way.

#Take notes
Don't forget to take the notes at the class periods as one clever way to save your time is going over your class notes or your own personal ones. All you need is to do is just browse them once and fit them in your mind.
#Study like a teacher
Rather than studying as a school going student what don't you think like a teacher. You will begin to anticipate important questions and this is scientifically proven that teaching someone helps you understand the concept in a more deep way. You have already seen your teachers who have already mastered the topics and now you can easily guess why are they called masters.

So just don't forget to take breaks after 40 minutes of study, read and recite, switch subjects, browse the class notes and be a teacher to yourself.

Follow these simple tips so that you can also be a smart worker rather than a hard worker.

Hope this may help you!!!
Thank you!!
